Become A Symphonia Member

Bristol University Symphonia is one of the largest orchestral societies at the University of Bristol. Affiliated with Bristol SU, we were awarded Performing Arts Society of the Year in both 2020 and 2023.

We are home to two student-led orchestras:

• Symphony Orchestra, our part-auditioned ensemble. 

• Philharmonic Orchestra, the university's only un-auditioned full orchestra.

Together, our ensembles welcome musicians of all experience levels and perform a diverse orchestral repertoire throughout the year.

Beyond rehearsals and concerts, we also engage with the wider community through outreach projects and partnerships.
