Symphony Orchestra: Spring Concert

Experience the premiere of A Journey Lost to Time by Charlie Kay, winner of our composition competition, alongside a breathtaking performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 by Michael Lei, our concerto competition winner. The evening concludes with the sweeping grandeur of Bax’s Symphony No. 7—a concert not to be missed!
Tickets are £4 for students/under 18s and £10 for general admission, available online and at the door. Right now, we have an early bird promotion—general admission is just £8! Offer ends 25th March 2025, so book early! We recommend getting your ticket online for quicker seating. If you are purchasing a student ticket, please bring your U-Card. Symphonia members enter for free. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the concert starts at 7:00 PM.

2025 marks the 5th Anniversay of Symphonia's Philharmonic Orchestra. Since its creation, the orchestra has grown in size and strength providing a vital avenue for people to play music in a relaxed environment without the added pressure of auditions. Join us as we celebrate this special orchestra and welcome back a host of Symphonia Alumni who will be joining the orchestra to mark the occasion! They'll be a bar, great music and a party atmosphere. What more could you want? See you there!
